Inside Sales Representative

The Apica inside sales representative (ISR) plays a fundamental role in driving the achievement of our ambitious customer acquisition, retention and revenue growth objectives. As an ISR, you will making dozens of calls per day, generating and qualifying leads, managing a portfolio of existing Apica customers and closing sales.


  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects
  • Close sales with new and existing customers
  • Drive existing customer renewals
  • Identify key players and generate interest
  • Build and expand the company’s customer database (of prospects within your assigned territory)
  • Provide prospects with online demos
  • Perform research on behalf of the company in order to identify available potential opportunities
  • Present sales status reports on a weekly basis
  • Manage creation and presentation of quotations for opportunities as they are identified
  • Ensure the smooth running of sales process
  • Engage in cold-calling of potential buyers/clients and contact current ones
  • Attend sales training as will be required
  • Together with the senior sales staff constantly evolve effective and strategic sales methods


  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Must be a good communicator - must have the ability to interact and communicate with at all organizational levels
  • Ability to make presentations to prospective customers
  • Ability to prioritize assignments
  • Strong business systems knowledge – CRM, marketing automation, etc.
  • Effective time management skills - the ability to manage time effectively and work independently
  • Self-motivated
  • Willing travel at any time
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Problem solving skills
  • Possession of strong interpersonal skills
  • Possess the ability to effectively handle stress
  • Ability to listen and pay attention to details
  • Creative thinker - the ability to think effectively, develop ideas and solutions to problems as the come
  • Must be highly enthusiastic and committed to excellence
  • Ability to be thorough and extremely analytical
  • Flexible and able to multi-task
  • Ability to work under pressure and still meet up with deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies, Business, Marketing or related discipline
